Having been a member of 3 other gyms in the past, I have found that Progress Fitness is unlike any other gym. Progress Fitness provides a positive, encouraging environment with knowledgeable trainers and everyone who comes here becomes family.
Here I have learned that progress is progress no matter how big or small and that you are not alone on your journey towards your goals.

Amy started at Progress Fitness in 2015 and Anthony started at Progress Fitness in 2017. To say it changed our lives is an understatement. A combined weight loss of 150 pounds (that’s a whole person!) and a whole lot of attitude adjustment on life is what has completely changed our lives. We know no matter what life has thrown at us we always have our gym family to back us up. We never expected or needed the gym to help us make our marriage stronger, but it sure has; we feel physically and emotionally stronger with our PF family by our sides. While everyone around you is encouraging you, it allows us to also encourage each other through a whole workout. Anthony suffers with Multiple Sclerosis and Amy suffers with anxiety and depression. Both of those play a role in hindering our workouts and ambition but with PF they are constantly checking in on those issues and altering workouts to what works for us while still achieving our goals. We can’t imagine our lives without our Progress Fitness Family in it!

It’s hard to believe, but we are just about to celebrate our two-year anniversary at Progress Fitness. What started out as a way to get in shape for our daughter’s summer wedding has become our way of life. Thanks to the encouragement and instruction from all the trainers we would both say we are in the best shape we have ever been. The team trainings continue to challenge us and still sometimes we can’t believe how much we’ve accomplished and how we have been able to sustain our initial weight losses—holiday weight gain is no longer an issue!
Not only have we continued our workout routine of four days a week, we have also added cycling and now are at Progress Fitness about six times per week.
Progress Fitness is not just a gym—it’s a place where we have made friends, where we receive encouragement from the other members, where we laugh every time we are there, and where the trainers truly care about our well-being—not just as members of their gym but in our personal lives as well. It’s an extraordinary place.

I’ve been a small part of Progress Fitness since the day it opened. I went from an employee who watched the kids as their parents exercised, to one of those exercising, and finally to becoming a Zumba® instructor! I’ve even convinced my husband and teenage son to join me in working out! Progress Fitness has changed my life in so many ways and as a result, changed the lives of those around me. I have lost weight, gained confidence and made many friends who have become like family. I have more energy, enough to work full-time in addition to teaching Zumba® and working out with the trainers, who are just amazing, and so supportive.
